Import Permits

I was talking to a shop owner the other day who said the Canadian Government is dragging its heals on ammo importation permits. He was saying ammo is drying up in Canada because of it, and prices will get even higher. Something about the Liberals making life difficult for shooters. I'm curious to know if others have heard a similar tale, and if there is any veracity to this story.

First time I've recently heard this specific complaint. The vast majority of ammo is brought in through distributors but a few rare dealers bring it in directly. Our ammo supply is slow and infrequent but if you have a number of orders in place with multiple suppliers (we do) then you should receive your share. Usually Canadian permits are fairly quick but the US ones take longer. Phil.
