Where to find check weights

Just wondering if anyone knows where to get a decent set of check weights in Canada. Saw a few from China but don't know how reliable they would be. Just starting out into reloading and want to make sure my 505 is setup correctly.

They got some in various ranges, from $41,000 calibrated weight sets to 25$ balance checking weights.

I have never seen a match quality jacketed bullet that was more that .2 grains out of spec. When in a hurry that's what I use.

Cabelas has a decent set, checked in a lab they are far more accurate than we would ever need.

Getting my flame suit on... I just made my own? Took some wheel weights and cut off pieces until I got the weight I wanted (grinder for fine tuning) and used 3 separate scales to prove my results through redundancy (my digital jewellers scale, my 10/10 beam, and a friends high-end digital jeweler scale).

I bought a cheap China set from eBay. Figured for that cheap, if they sucked, I wouldn't be out a whole lot. I checked 'em against my balance scale and other digital scale and they came up roses. Not bad for under $10. with free shipping. Only took 4wks to deliver.

They have certified calibration weights in varying precision ranges.

Don't touch them with bare skin as the acidic oil from your skin will oxidize the weight. Wear gloves.

Thanks again, I ended up picking the Lyman set from wholesale sports. Spent $80 on it after shipping and tax, better safe than sorry. Don't have another scale to compare the weights to if I went another route.

Is the 505 you refer to the RCBS beam scale?
If that is what you are talking about, you do not need check weights. Just set everything at zero and balance it.
If it will make you feel better, test it with some good bullets of known weight, but RCBS has done an excellent job of calibrating the scale.
