New to the handgun world. RCMP has my paperwork 2 weeks now. Time to start shopping. Can anyone tell me what store's in the Toronto and surrounding area has the best selection of handguns in stock. Sure don't want to order one on-line sight unseen. Thanks

Do you have a range membership ?? perhaps you can check out some of your friends pistols

You've got Target Sports in Gormely (http://www.targetsportscanada.com/). Bulls Eye in London (http://www.bullseyelondon.com/), which has more hand guns in stock than Al Flaherty's in Toronto (http://www.alflahertys.com/) as Al's primarily deals with Hunting Rifles and Shotguns. I've been waiting on them to get in some Sig's since December and it's not March. I got my P320 from Bulls Eye in London. You also have The Firearms Outlet of Canada in Ajax (http://www.firearmsoutletcanada.com/) to name a few. Then there's Cabela's in Barrie.

Rcmp still has your paperwork. I'm assuming this means you don't have your rpal, yes? If so keep drooling online. Most gun stores will not let you touch a gun until you show them your pal. Al flahertys only have their long guns on display. Their handguns are stored in the back. And they will ask for your rpal before they go take it out and have you look at it.

Besides Al Flaherty's, there's Tenda Canada just north of Highway 7 (they have some good prices), Target Sports (the only place you can shoot the range guns and where I'm a member myself) and Firearms Outlet Canada (also some good prices, but a bit more of a drive). You can get the addresses in the Dealer Locator or from Google.
