I bought a NORINCO JW25A from CANADA AMMO last fall. I asked them if they sell spare magazines, was told no, but CZ magazines would work. I bought a CZ 10 rd polymer magazine, which fit the rifle. I went to the range, loaded up the magazine, inserted it in the rifle, and discovered the rounds tilted upwards and would not feed into the chamber. After a few attempts, I gave up. Do not buy CZ magazines for this rifle.

I've got 5 round metal and plastic plus 10 round metal cz mags, both brand new and old as dirt and they all function fine in mine.

I don't have a 10rd plastic one, however.

One of my mags does have a feeding issue sometimes, but as it was a gun show find I can't say who made it or what sort of life it had.

All I use are CZ metal 5 rounders in my 15a....the nork mag was crap.
Try loading 1- 5 rounds in it and see if that solves the problem. If not, likely the gun is out of spec.

If you google a bit you will find step by step pictorial instructions on setting up the follower on a CZ magazine properly. From your description, your follower angle is incorrect. Some folks received factory new from CZ that would not properly function - has to do with the bend angles on the "legs" at the front and rear of the follower. Get that correct ( or in one case, get the front leg of follower to the front of the magazine) and it feeds perfectly. Did this myself on two out of four brand new plastic 10 round CZ magazines.
