Where to buy Mosin Nagant 91/30 in Ontario? How much?

My "plain Jane" '43 Izhevsk 91/30 really likes Chinese new production mg ammo from CanadaAmmo - 10 shots at 100y with irons (sandbags).

I used to have M38 that was shooting same Chinese mg ammo 2.5" at 100. So I think it is just matters if your rifle "likes" it :] Brand new MFS fmj shoots great too, but it feels like recoil is twice heavier compare to chinese surplus

To be honest I have two Mosins that can shoot the 60's Chinese stuff consistently 2" or less at 100M. No BS here

With some glass on it or with iron sights? With the latter that is something to write home about!

Nice shooting! That's what I'd expect from a well-refurbished Mosin and a good marksman at 100yrds shooting from a sandbag. A flyer from time to time (after all it's an old misurp ammo) but generally a nice, 2.5-3" grouping. Congrats!

With glass on sand bags. My point was about the difference in consistency of the different ammo not the firearm.

I found a SVT40 target pic with the same 60's chinese stuff shot with irons:

I couldn't get any decent groups out of the 180 gr Chinese 2011 production worth taking a pic of any of my rifles.

If I had to choose what crate to by next, it wouldn't be the 2011 production stuff. Especially when TradeEx was actually cheaper.

I like the look of that Boyd's stock! How do you like it I am planning on buying one soon. Is that the reddish stock? Does it look more red or pink in color? What all did you add to that rifle with the Boyd's stock? Trigger? Did you add those pillars where the screws go? Did you glass it in?
