Anybody know what a current price would be for an AR 180B(2) Non restricted BNIB with manuals, un-fired.

Any thoughts on the current going price?

Thanks

Disappeared in less than 24 hours... When I'm selling that means it went for asking or very close to it...

OP: I'm not sure I'd put that big a premium on it being unfired... It's not a major collector piece, and the first time you fire it is no longer unfired. Maybe $2100, but depends on how bad you want it.

Ok thanks. It's not even out of the factory plastic box wrap/sleeve. I assumed it might be a bit collectible as I have never seen another like this, but I could be wrong.

Ok thanks.

So for unfired, BNIB, were likely looking at closer to $2500?

LOL .
Where do you come up with these ridicules prices ?

Also I would not want a NIB unfired AR180B
I had 3 of them . First one cracked at 150 rnds .
Sent back full warranty . Second one cracked around same rnds fired .
Sent back full warranty . Dealer advised Armalite had a bad batch of polymer lowers .
I was not the only one experiencing this kind of failure .
Third rifle fired 450 rnds no failure so it was a good one .
Sold it $1700 to another CGN'r who was fully aware of the history with these 180B's
I would not buy another

sounds like a facking disaster
sounds like its better to get one that has been fired 500 rounds than a brand new one

$2500 is ludacris. And it wont ever happen as long as you can get a robinson at that mark.
$1800 is probably attainable, nobody cares if it hasnt been shot yet, they want to shoot it.
My $0.02

3-4 years ago these sold for closer to the $1200-1300 mark when used, and came with a few mags and 2 hand guards.

They have a known issue with the front pin cracking, however they can be hit and miss with that. My best friend has one that has seen several thousand rounds of ammo and has not exhibited any signs of stress, but he knows it can still happen. There is a fix for the weak front pin if it breaks, however it is not plug and play, it involves some work on the receiver.

Recent prices on the EE tend to be around the $1800 mark, however I have not paid attention to if any of them have sold at that price.

OP, I think it would be reasonable to start your pricing for a new in box, unfired gun at somewhere in the $2000-2100 mark. If it doesn't sell, then you will have determined that the cost is too high, and simply bump your price down 100 a week until it sells.

You have to remember guys, these are fairly rare firearms, and discounting the one known failure point (I know it's a big point, but it is repairable for those so inclined), they are actually very decent NR rifles.

I have a used but still looks like new 180b with an after market stock and I've been offered anywhere from 1000 - 1700 on quite a few occasions. I would say 2000 is a fair place to start for BNIB, People don't quite understand Rarity/Availability will often make prices go up, Regardless of what people "think" they are worth

I've seen them for $1200 and I've seen them for $1800. As was said earlier, it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for one. Mine is one of the last ones brought into Canada, I bought it new and unfired from a private dealer I know who had it sitting in the box under his work bench for a few years and I just lucked into the deal as another retailer I know knew he had it and pointed me in the right direction. I got it for just over $1400 back in 2007 and I've put somewhere around 1000 rounds through it without a failure of any kind and it's about the same for accuracy as any Tavor or XCR-L. I will never part with mine as it's one of my favorite rifles.

Don't buy one thinking you're buying a non restricted AR-15 though, they don't have much in common and most AR's will provide better accuracy. It's lightweight and reliable and shoots well enough for most field work. I have a QD Stormwerkz scope mount and a scope for it but feel that it's better without it as the irons are good and it keeps it light and easy to carry around all day like that.

They had a batch of lowers that Armalite identified as having a bad batch of polymer, the rest of the rifles are fine as long as they are not abused by opening the rifle and letting the upper swing down and slam into the lower. Even an AR wouldn't take that kind of abuse for long.

The asking price on these things here in Canada is hilarious...
I can't believe what some are willing to pay for what is really just a craptastic rifle.
I bought one in the US back when our dollar was almost at par...
It was $600... tax in.
Even at that price I wasn't impressed.
First time out I got 20 rounds off before the welds holding the rail the bolt carrier ran on failed. The rail came completely off rendering tge gun unshootable.
Once I got the rail fixed the gun coukd never do better than five or six inch groups at 100 yards...The trigger sucked and the butt stock was really flimsy....
Probably the most disappointing rifle I've ever owned.

If the gun grabbers would try to get the 180b banned I'd support them... If just to save people from wasting their money.

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with one rifle but that's the first I've ever heard of a failure like that.
If you did any research you would know that Eugene Stoner actually designed the 180 as a replacement and improvement to the M-16 and if the US military hadn't already fully invested in the M-16 we might see a very different scene when we see pics of the US military.
Comparing the price something sells for in the States to what it goes for in Canada is pretty much apples to oranges and irrelevant to real world value. Also considering that would have been many years ago and the price of everything has risen drastically since those days makes it even less relevant.
Accuracy isn't as good as an AR-15 but mine and most other people find the accuracy to be as good as any Tavor or XCR-L.
Flimsy stock? It's a fixed stock could you please explain? Mine is solid and doesn't have any wiggle or play at all.

Supporting the grabbers taking any rifle from the hands of law abiding citizens is just plain ignorant and you should rethink your stance on firearms in general. :slap::kickInTheNuts:
