Hunting outfitters around Saskatoon?

Gentleman, looks like my wife is heading to Saskatoon end of October this year for work for 6 or 7 days. She has asked if I would like to tag along and make it a hunting trip 9ut of it. So my question is, is there any good outfitters in the area, what would I be looking at price wise on average for anything walking on 4 legs? Any info that I can use when I start my search would be appreciated.

Waterfowl is accessible and very productive. Prime time. Lots of outfitters near Saskatoon. There won't be any big game outfitters very near Saskatoon, that activity is further North, a couple hours drive. Check the ministry website for seasons. Moose is open then I believe, deer would be muzzle loader or bow season. Bear would have closed already. No mule deer or elk tags for non-residents. I have never used an outfitter for deer or moose, sorry I can't help you there.

You'll most likely have to go North. You'd be running decent timing for a waterfowl shoot though

Thank you both for the generous offer. But apparently life changes very quickly, the wife comes home tonight and informs me after getting my hopes up that here conference that she was going to has changed and now in Niagara Falls the following year..........What the hell!?!

I live only 1 1/2 from Niagara, I will definitely be bow hunting at home!

I will lay down the law and see how it goes. When it comes to hunting her sympathy doesn't go to far considering I leave her home with the kids 3 to 4 weeks a year!

I will make it up your way one day. My cousin flies for Bear Skin airlines and comes down to the airport right by my place once a week. One of these days I will hitch a ride up to Thunder Bay for a hunting trip or possibly a fishing trip.

You might be able to hunt deer with a muzzleloader at that time. Have to check the regs if a season is on then and you would have to apply in the big game draw to see if you get a tag
