Here's the idea. My friend just got a really nice sxs 10 gauge with 3.5" chambers and I have a chance to buy it. My question is, has anyone threaded a sxs and installed the browning bps 10 gauge chokes in it? Or, is there anyone in Canada that has a reamer that can cut a 10 gauge to improved modified? With 36" barrels, shooting snows will be a blast with that cannon! If someone in Saskatchewan can do it, even better!

Opening the choke maybe someone in canada can do it I don't know but as far as fitting choke tubes my 10ga's had to be shipped to briley in the US to get them done and it was not cheap. I could not find anyone in canada when I searched that did 10ga tubes
Cheers

Nick Makinson in Ontario has done very good choke opening & forcing cone work for me on several doubles. It is very unlikely that you will be able to thread the muzzle of your gun for Browning Invector tubes, they require much more barrel thickness than a nice double will typically have. Bailey in the USA may be able to do the job, their "thin wall" tubes can be installed in many double shotguns. You may pay as much for the installation as you did for your gun. Lowry shooting Sports in the dealer, you will need to figure out if it is feasible first, then ship to Briley via Lowry.

Agree. Does Nick do 10ga??
Cheers

Does anyone have the contact for nick. I had it at one time but misplaced it. I need to have my 10 ga redone after a local business screwed it up trying to open the chokes
