It will be end of summer if I do decide on one Looky. I still have the balance to pay off on the Rizzini Trap Combo once its delivered this spring and I am flying my ex's boy out for visit in August and taking him on a tour of the mountains for a week or so, so thats first priorities. But if I get one I'll let you know how she shoots!!

I purchased a new stainless M54 in 7mm-08 from PR back in May of 2014. After trying several different loads and several trips to the range I could not get anything to shoot better than 1.5". I returned the gun to Cooper and after several months the rifle was returned. I tried again with the same result. I returned the rifle again and it was returned to me a second time after several months, this time with several near one hole targets. Assuming it must be me and having lost all confidence in the rifle, I returned it to Clay to sell on my behalf. I have since ordered another identical rifle but haven't received it yet. My money has been tied up for nearly two years, however.
I've been shooting and reloading for over thirty years and I've shot some pretty decent groups with everything from .223 Rem to 45/70 but try as I may I couldn't fire a single decent group with that Cooper. Ty Yeager shot six so I gave Cooper the benefit of the doubt. Clay informed me the other day that my second rifle has arrived and it's in the mail. Hopefully it shoots better than the first. Clay also informed me that whoever purchased my rifle has it shooting, although I don't know how much trouble he went through to get there!

I realize this is an older post but I would like to add an update. I finally received my new Cooper. This one was the same as the first but decided to go with a laminate stock instead of a synthetic. No matter. I can not get this rifle to shoot any better than the first one. Copper now has this rifle. Clay said it shot okay for them. Probably but not for me. Did take my smokeless muzzleloader and sight it in the other day. It did shoot okay for me!
