Tokarev Sportowy .22

Does anyone have an idea how much a Sportowy is going for these days? Not what they are worth or what you would pay but basically has anyone seen what they are selling for? There is only one on the EE and they are asking $500. I don't think that is what they are selling for these days. I know some sponsors had them for sale but forget which ones it was.

I bought mine from a sponsor here a while ago for $129.00 new, I don't see were the guys on EE figure theirs are worth anywhere near $500.00 I don't think they are serious about really selling them.

This is prb more what they are worth, fromw what i heard better stock up on insert cause those puppies fly when ejected

And yeah i think SFRC was blowing them out last year for 150$ or so?

Looking for those inserts can be a pain sometimes, for that reason I don't use it in the winter.

Thanks guys, I have been talking to a fella out west who is making inserts, using 6061 t6 aluminum, I will let him know about this thread so anyone wanting some can contact him, sfrc said they were going to get a bunch of inserts in but never did!

We did but sold them all to one person to resell. I'm not sure what they did with them as I never saw them come up for sale.

Even if it could chamber a 7.62x25, The firing pin is for a rimfire not a centerfire.

...and you'd probably get a really fun surprise if the 7.62 round were to detonate in that .22 barrel.

The 7.62 x 25 bullet would be a pretty tight squeeze travelling down the barrel. I wouldn't want to try it.

It is a hokey design, they just decided to leave the chamber 7.62 instead of finishing the job and making it .22 and fabricating a mag!
I have a contact for extra inserts if anyone is in need, they look like really great quality!

Got mine from sfrc for 99.99 so couldn't pass it up. Awesome quality gun, but the inserts kill the use ability.
Accurate and kind of fun trying to catch inserts mid air before they are gone forever

Exactly, only around 2500 made, so a collector thing but cool to shoot once in a while, they say it was used for training must have been training in how to chase inserts and sweep!!

I don't know there was only that many made, Sold them a few years ago , cheap, Some where just one 100.oo, stupid idea.
but if some one collected TT O.K., thou, I can't see collecting TT, colts, sig, even S-W
A good man and a lathe could make some money, I think I may have a couple in the junk box.

i have one. never fired it. I'd trade it for a 7.62 model and or purchase the parts (which seem hard to find) to convert it back.
