One thing I wanted to point out with regards to the AR308 rifles. Cost isn't the determining factor for accuracy. The DPMS LR-308 target rifles for example are under 2K and can shoot with or outshoot many of the high end stuff. Unless you're buying a high priced specifically designed target rifke like a Les Bauer then more money doesn't mean more accuracy.
If the AR308 rifle is executed properly then the barrel and trigger should be the biggest factors for potential accuracy performance. The current designs based off a regular AR are tried and true. Unless of course something is changed/modified in the design that has an accuracy potential issue. Some piston systems, modified bolts etc are potential examples.
