Price of shells increase?

Challenger target loads are $64.00 a flat and promises no price increase this year (Canadian made) All others are going up -- Ross buys 25000 flats of Challenger at a time & pays up front to get the best price. He buys more than Cdn Tire or Cabalas.

Who is Ross?

It might be a good time to sell my surplus PW 2000 loader. It is cheaper to reload again. Powder has gone up, but lead seems to be stable.

Just started back up myself after a 2yr leave. It's worth it now for 12 & 20g. Figure it's around $6.50/box (tax in) for 1oz if I don't factor in the hulls (have tons)

I just ran all the numbers last night. I came up with 79.00 a case for 12g if I reload and 83.50 if I buy Challengers or Federals from CTire. Still not worth it for me.

I just checked my numbers and current prices on all the components work out to $6.50 per box for 12 gauge, taxes in. New shells here are $70 plus tax ($79.10). The loader has been paid for for a long time.

Correct federal 12G 3" #7.5 7/8oz.
Now found better ones
Challenger target loads
2 3/4" 1oz #8 for 7.99 for 25 again and can't find anything cheaper in Regina or Saskatoon. If anyone knows spots, I'm all ears..

If you live near a Cabela's check out their website. They have sales on the Challenger stuff pretty often.
