Don't agree when it comes to Pre-64's in very good or better condition... they are "selling" for $600+ and are worth it in that condition. Chambered for less common cartridges brings a premium also... as does mint condition rifles... you will pay North of $700 for a 98% rifle... and considering the quality and compared to New Miroku rifles, that is a steal. Sure, if it is a 50% condition rifle, missing the hood, buggered screws and sloppy lever, with weavil wood... you should only be paying $300 Max as a beater for the truck or tractor...
