M305 Bolt hold open

My bolt hold open is shot....doesn't work at all....Wouldn't really bother me too much, except that when I insert a new mag and try to cycle the bolt, I cannot move it. So I want to replace mine....Now my question is what do you guys recommend, and where can I buy it?? I don't mind paying for quality...

its probably just the roll pin is binding in there, easiest/cheapest is to replace the roll pin.
I went with the rooster33 extended bolt catches back when he was selling them. There are several others, all similar in shape and price.

Doesnt Seem to be binding, feels like it moves freely.....just doesnt lock.

Common problem with the last lot of 305s that came in.

Buy a replacement one....be care full how you remove the existing pin.

No, be careful how you remove the old pin so you don't peen it tighter instead of removing it

I picked up an enhanced bolt catch from Magwedge, works great and they toss in a new roll pin with it.

Push the pin to the rear, and replace it in opposite order.

Ordered one from Brownells....Had to ship it to my USA Address otherwise they wouldnt give me an estimated shipping cost....TBD is NOT accetable to me especially where UPS is concerned!!!!

Took on this project this evening after spending a good hour looking for the new parts....

Old pin took a couple whacks with a small hammer and custom punch....putting the new pin was pretty much the same....all told was a 5 minute job. Dont ask me what i used as a punch....
