Ranch hand in 44 mag- nice!

Took advantage of the warm weather out there today and tried out my new 44 mag ranch hand.
Wow.
Now that is a powerful round!
Nice, compact little gun. I like it.
I'm becoming a big fan of pistol caliber non-restricteds.
Lots of big booming out there this afternoon!
I can see its appeal as a backpack/bear defense/camp gun.

Only downside, price of ammo.
$62 taxes in for 50.

Sounds like you had a good day. I am a fan of a 44 mag too.You need to load your own ammo..
but$ 62.00 per 50 rounds sounds expensive I know I paid $44.00 for 50 last fall...

I think it was Canada ammo that had a decent deal on bulk .44 mag a while back?

Here's mine, reloading puts me around $0.40~ for full power loads. Picked up my stock off the EE but it is a Boyd's.
