Easter sale - The Shooting Edge

We try to do telephone, but in-store and online, plus a regular email are best.

Once an order is received, we pull the goods immediately to avoid selling out from under someone. The system is not perfect, but we piss off less and less people every year.

And...

Yes we will have bulk 9mm, .223 / 5.56mm, .308, 7.62x39, 12ga, etc....

JR

Nice, I need some 5.11 soft drag bag rifle cases! And a new range bag ; ) if my new Pal comes in time might be buying a crap ton of guns and ammo if the deals are as awesome as they sound.

Secretly hoping Vortex will be on sale for more then the arbitrary 5% off I've seen.

Does any membership level allow access early before the public?

Unfortunately no.... Only full members (no guests) are allowed in at the 9am start. Everyone else has to wait till 10.

However, if you get here early and get your entry number, you can always go to the market for breakfast or hangout. You will not have to actually form a line until just before your group gets to come inside.

So if we have an associate membership we are $#!^ out of luck by the sounds of it?

That doesn't seem very nice.. since it is still a purchased membership.

A purchased membership at a considerably reduced price compared to a full membership. Feel free to upgrade to a full membership like the rest of us and enjoy the benifits like not paying for a day pass either. Or do you complain about that as well?

There's usually lots of stock for the sale items, I wouldn't worry about getting in at 10 instead of 9am. Upgrading to a full membership is an option too.

I have an associate membership with TSE also. I wasnt surprised that the sales and pre line up dont apply. Wasnt expecting it either. Thats the perks of full membership. They aren't not being nice but treating their full members the way it should. No complaints from me!

No I don't complain, But then again I do not have a membership yet either. I was simply implying that if a person had a membership, would that be included as such. Not everyone has an extra $60-100+ a month for a "full" membership. As well as the fact that, not everyone like myself needs all of the perks that a full membership provides. If you have even a tiny amount of business sense , you would realize that it would be very beneficial to include these types of memberships for sales like this. I would have bought the $80 membership here just to get in early and spend A LOT more money. I am very sure I am not alone in that either as it seems like a win win for both parties.

Sorry for :feedTroll:

Cheers!

Actually it is not win-win as our full members support the facility year round and one od the huge perks of this membership is; advanced entrance. As it is, it takes most of the first hour to get through all of the full members before we let in the public. By including Associates as well, it would really bog down the entrance.

I personally believe the current system is the fairest. It may not be the most financially advantageous, but it seems to work for us.

But this year, by handing out numbers, we will lessen the boring line waiting at least.

This. I have drove 3hrs every good friday morning for the last 3 years and usually get there by 9:45 and wait until 10:30 to get in. Not to bad.

And this year, once you show up, you can grab a number, get a coffee and mill around waiting for your group to get called in.... A more civilized start I hope.

Will Linda be at the AACCA show doing ear plugs again this year?

Auggie D.

YES, Yes she will!

If you bring your TSE membership card, you get $15 off as well. Thanks for reminding me.

JR

I'm not a fan of TSE. I've taken my business elsewhere ever since that European thing. I'm only saying that so you can understand how much it pains me to say this next part, but it needs to be said....

Buying those molded ear plugs are THE best purchase I have ever made. They block the noise incredibly well, they don't bulge around your ear getting in the way of a stock, you don't accidentally snag one and pull it out. They're just the best thing since sliced bread. My pair has lasted for what must be near 7 or 8 years now, good as the day they were made. The process feels creepy, but I do honestly think EVERYONE should have a set. Your hearing has to last a lifetime, and with those it will.

JR, have you guys done any research on those molded ear plugs for kids ears ? I have no clue how fast an ear canal grows, but I can only assume they will grow between say 8 and 16 a fair amount and expect the decibel reduction rating to reduce dramatically. If you've got any experience on that side she may just be squeezing goo into 3 more sets of ears this year.
