Just to tease you guys, back in the day my magic box of goodies was endless. I just found what's left, and the best part, after 10 years you forget what you once had.

Brand new GI - 2 op-rods, 2 bolts, 2- TRW barrels, 1 - Win trigger group, 1 match sight, 2 regular sights, 3 elevation pinions, 2 gas locks, 3 hammers, 1 E2 hider, 1 smith gfls, 2 complete gas systems.

Used - 8 op rods, 3 bolts, 5 trigger groups, 5 stocks (1 e2, 2 fg, 1 wood with metal insert, 1 wood oversized-bedded)

A bag of norinco guts, 2 sights and 3 bolts (anyone using these things for anything).

Woohoo! Jackpot

You should've seen the pile 12-13 years ago, picked up a 10 pack of TRW BOLTS for $300 (market price was about $150 each at the time) No plans on selling much of anything, for one I don't know what prices are anymore...it was more that I just wanted to stir things up like my old posts did. I see that my old scope mount posts have lost their photos, I'll see if I can track them down and update that post. (And yes one op-rod in photo does not have connector cut out, it's a polytech one)

Wow!

As far as current value goes......

Pretty sure if you need a kidney, you could sell your stash and still have enough left for a steak dinner!

I recently "stole" a Used TRW bolt for $350.

Armtac is currently listing USGI mixed parts kits for $1K....

Cheers!

Hey Barney, it's been a long time - 12 years since the Abbotsford clinic?

You still playing with the 14 ?
I see there are plenty of people tinkering with these now, it's great to see.

I might just have to dust off the tools and start building again.

And the 24411 oprod, was a late GI contract done by Mercury tool and Machine

if that's the same box you had back in the LMZ , I got a few goodies from that off ya one day. LOL I was leavin as swampy was arriving.
I don't post my builds anymore and don't sell my parts anymore either. But I have been buying up 12-3 gi parts kits in my travels. My collection might give yours a run for tha money hehehe
good to see you posting man, still rooted on that sunny island in the central pacific?

I remember when you were the source for USGI parts. Pretty sure that I bought a bolt from you for around a $100. It's hard to remember because it was definitely over 10 years ago but you were likely the source of my 18.5" Criterion barrel and fiberglass stock, Smith Ent bolt release, NIW combo tool, etc...

tiriaq rebarreled it for me at Barney's first Ontario clinic at Milcun. Took me forever to remove a slotted flash hider from a barrel stub that he cut down for someone else. Actually, I still haven't hogged out the inside welds enough to install it on my barrel lol. Guess I kind of lost a bit of momemtum, ha! Jeez, now I want to go in the basement and finish putting it together. Just need an Italian rear sight and Sadlak mag release and it will be perfect. Ah memories...
