What is everyone using for loads in their 284 win for long range paper punching/steel smacking. I have 4 load/bullet types worked up for mine depending on bullet availibility. I have been using H4831 because I have a good amount of it. My favorite load now is 168 gr rbthp chinchaga over 56.5 grains over h4831, and cci lr primers. Its not showing any pressure signs and chronyied at 2860 fps.

I generally run 160 gr bullets over RL22 in mine. - dan

going with 180 grain bullets in mine so I may be of little help, but 53-55 grains of H4831SC, BR2 primers and seat the bullets to just touch the lands
