Best deal/availability for sks mags?

I'm looking to mount a big rail on my Sks that will prevent me from using stripper clips so I'm going to need some mags, but don't want a big bulky magazine (that is only useful if government collapses) messing with my prone, bipod shots. So that means it's 5 or 10 round mags, but they are pretty much the same price as 20 round mags. Guess it's an uphill battle...

... i havent had a single Tapco mag related failure with my SKS in the 1000+ rounds ive fired though it while using tapco mags.
 
I bought 6 Tapco mags from HiCal and they collectively have over 15 000 rounds through them. One of them is starting to have issues, popping up a round incorrectly so the loaded round stovepipes. Maybe I'll clean it and see if I can find a problem, or maybe it's worn out on the lips. I think they work pretty good.
