Dillon 650 Refurb

He fellas,

Question: years ago I bought a Dillon 650 that I loaned out to a friend and forgot about. Awhile back I got it back...minus a few bits and pieces. Does Dilllon refurb these things? I just want the damned thing set up to do .45ACP or .45 Colt...and I will be happy with that!

I sent them an email and got no response back. I am not looking for a freebie, I will pay to have it set up and refurbed by a pro...

I loaded 500,000 + of 308 on mine. At the Shot Show they told me to send it back to get re-built. For free.

Yes they do, basically you send them your old dillon and they bring it back to almost new condition (for a fee, can't remember how much but it's not crazy). Buddy of mine sent his 18 years old Dillion that was pretty beaten up to Dillion, it came back (after 4 weeks) looking like a brand new press and in the way everything got updated.

Talked with the Dillon staff last month during a tour at their facility and they do refurbish ... apparently there are a lot of people making garage purchases that want to refurbish before using. Give them a call and talk with them about costs, etc.

My son had an ammo company. The Dillon only loaded virgin primed 308 cases. 2 to 4 thousand rounds a day. After awhile, it adds up.

refurb is free but shipping both ways is on your dime. If you just need a few parts to get er going again, purchasing them might be cost effective.
