Hey guys,
I figured this would be the best place to ask. *this is the second place I put this thread, I forgot CGN had an airgun forum*
I recently moved and found two of my airguns that I haven't seen in approx. 12-13 years lol.
Anyways, they were stored in a basement for 12-13 years without any attention, and I am now I am apologizing to them by giving them some tlc.
So being stored in the humid air for so long, you can imagine they gathered some surface rust which I cleaned as best as I could.
The Crosman 357 had an empty c02 still tightened up.. I took it out and cleaned the c02 valve and I put a new c02 in... And BAM! It works flawlessly.
The z177 on the other hand was left empty, and I cleaned the valve as well as I could, and I put a fresh c02 in.. and it leaks straight away.
I try firing the gun while the c02 is leaking, and it doesn't even recognize that there is c02 in it... (When firing with the leaking c02 no air comes out of the barrel)
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do? Is the air valve no more good at this point?
It was nice finding these two girls, and it brought back many memories
Here are some pics!
