You people are missing the point.

If what I have heard is correct, nothing to do with 7.62x39mm ammunition can leave the USA. No live ammo, no brass.

So it either comes directly from offshore, or it don't come at all.

Where you buy brass depends on where you are. Buying on-line through mail order won't be cheap once the shipping is added. Your local gun shop can order whatever you want if they don't have any. If their distributor has it in stock it won't take long either. Think in terms of buying in bulk and paying up front.
