CSA VZ58 back from Warranty after failing to feed.

That seems like an odd fix CBP - and Cobra those are pretty standard parts that I don't see being an issue in the system. Weird. Well mine went through 120 rounds yesterday and 100 more again today no issues.

My 7.5" csa had the exact same issues as all of your rifles.

Sent it to NS, they gave me some BS run around till I got extremely pissed off, they then sent it to movie arms (at the time) and movie arms had to replace the whole rifle with a new one.

I really hope you guys don't have anymore issues as NS will give you nothing but headaches. And I know this for a fact

I was under the impression the 7.5 had issues with the feeding ramps.

Strangely my feeding ramp looks untouched:confused:

Guess their is no contact? NS was actually very helpful this time around for me. I guess in the future we will have to see.

CBP and Cobra - you guys both have tabbed bolt carriers?

Carrier is tabbed.

North Sylva was actually quick and polite... but we'll see if the problem is actually resolved. And yes, mine is a 7.5" gun... the feed ramp definitely looks different than the one on my 11.5" CSA. I still think the problem was the feed ramp, but who knows, maybe it'll work now. I'll know this weekend...

Frik now I am worried. Bought mine last year and haven't even fired 100 rounds yet. Didn't have an issue. At what point/round count did you guys have issues? How long is the warranty on them?

The polymer stock on my vz58 broke, took weeks for NS to even reply to me. Everytime I phoned I was brushed off. They eventually sent a new one but it was one of the most painful ordeals I have ever been through.

I just bought a new 7.5 in .223. and added the AR magwell. I was super worried about it after all the negative reviews, but it blasted through 140 rounds no problem, until the rear sight fell off... NS got back to me right away and is sending me a new leaf spring. I've never heard of that problem, but it seems like an easy fix. Now do you guys figure out the year of manufacture?

Right side, or opposite side of the serial number, under iron sight adjustment. You'll see a the last two digits of the year.

I have a 7.62x39, 2015 model. No problems but I've fired only about 150-200 rounds.

200 rounds in nothing to worry about, I fired 200 rounds just to quickly test the gun the day it came back. At this point the best I can say is i had a crate of non corrosive (1200) through it when it broke.

But for the design and price it should be lasting well into the 5000-10000 rounds before an issues. Maybe this is why CSA give 5 year warranty?

Don't let these issues discourage you just make sure you have the warranty to protect your self if you buy one new or used. Also make sure you talk to people at NS, they are actually helpful on the phone i found.

Same boat as you..... I only have like 50rnds through mine. If something breaks like a striker, bolt carrier... I'm just going to forget the warranty and just replace them with surplus 858 parts.
