I know some of our gun-nuts here have already got them...

the browning website says it is 34" OAL, but i do not believe it......because i once bought a xblot and its length is 1" longer than the paper...

and according to this article , "With a 16-inch barrel it measures only 37.87" long, making it relatively light and very compact."

can anyone help to measure your rifle and clarify it??

Thanks a lot!

Here's what I did.
A .308 blr with a 20" barrel is listed as 40" long on there website. Probably a accurate measurement, I used to own one. The black label .308 has the same length of pull listed as the 20" gun above. So minus 4" for the shorter barrel. You have 36" add 1" to 2" inches for that abortion they threaded onto the muzzle. Your 37.87" is probably accurate. They can't have 16" of barrel 13 3/4 of lop and 7" of receiver and make that equal 34 overall.
