Do any Canadian dealers carry the CZ 75 KADET 2 adapter? I have seen several reviews and they were quite favorable.
I would like to get a .22 pistol and was looking at the GSG 1911 and then saw this. It seem like it has a nice precision build and
it would be great to just add to my SP01 Shadow and fire cheap rounds from the same platform.

I think all the dealers in Canada have been out of them for over a year now. The Kadet pistols have been in short supply for a long time too. There have been at least two adapter kits listed in the EE within the last few months...one for $600 and the other for $500, didn't last long.

I looked into this a while back too. Just an FYI, the SP-01 Shadow will require some light filing in order to fit the Kadet adapter. I ended up passing on it due to that and the cost.

It's the adapters that some times need light filing. They are made a bit oversized and then custom fit to the guns.

The pistols are no longer made. I picked up an adapter kit from Wanstalls 2 years ago and another from Durham Outdoors 2 months ago.

If you buy a used one it may not fit your gun. They have to be fit to the frame.

I hope they will be back at an affordable price, I'd be in for one and I'm sure quite a few others will as well

I think that's the problem, most people have a hard time paying $650 for a Kadet conversion.
They are nice but it comes at a premium.

The concern about fitment/filing when purchasing a used Kadet Kit off EE is whether or not the prior owner(s) have already performed fitment on their guns. Mine came new and did not require any fitment. It went straight on to my Shadow, tight mind you, but that is the point. Had it been owned/used previously and had the prior owner performed any fitment on it for their gun, it would likely not have been as tight a fit on my gun, which is not ideal. Just something to keep in mind when buying a used Kadet Kit off the EE. I know that the price savings is tempting. Even if it is not as tight as it could be, you will still have tons of fun with it, get lots of practice time in and unless you are shooting bulls-eye with it, it likely won't make a bit of difference.

Also, although they are advertised to have the slide lock open on the last round, this is not always the case, and is well supported by numerous posts on the Internet. Just another thing to keep in mind so that your expectations are not crushed :). This is not a big deal in my opinion...I don't have a challenge counting to 10...yet. :)
