.22 Ammo Shortage....Am I part of the reason...?

only downside is I store mine loosely in ammo cans meaning I have to count out what I have, not sure of total amounts.

do what I did when I had the same problem, count out 250 of them, weigh them with a small scale and just keep on weighing more batches. easy to get "close" with your total count.

No shortage of 22 in the Edmonton area... Just really overpriced, like everywhere else. I remember when could get 500 rounds for under 10$ - since the beginning of the new millenium.

i started stockpiling 22Lr 2 years ago when my US friends warned to start stocking up,i'm glad i did,,i bought a ton of bricks at $20.00 a piece, and a bunch of CCI mini mags 1600 cans, even scored 80 boxes of CCI stingers one time,i'm glad i did,i probably wouldn't need to buy any for 20 years, and with the prices these days,it's not getting any cheaper, got a great score at the last show,30 various boxes at 3.00 each, and a lady sold me a milk crate with 21 bricks of remington Target high velocity shorts for $75.00,that was the beast deal i have gotten in a long time,

Where have you looked lately... Cabelas has been picked over and they aren't expecting a shipment for months. The only place I found a decent supply was wholesale sports south side. Brick of American eagle .40grn .22lr was 39.99 cabelas had only the Winchester collectors boxes left in stock for .22

We have had and still have a large amount of .22 ammo in stock. Much of it has arrived in past 6 months so prices vary compared to old inventory. A rough guess would be around 250 cases (not bricks) of various makes and styles (at least 15). Rimfire ammo has been arriving weekly and selling fairly briskly. Much of the rimfire ammo that we brought to the Calgary gun show sold out. Phil.
