With a purchase of potentially upwards of two grand, I was wondering about Huskemaw warranty in Canada - how good is it.. Do they have a service centre here?

I was at a restaurant in Rossland, BC a couple weeks ago and saw a dude with a Huskemaw t-shirt on. I laughed. I wanted to ask if the shirt cost more than the scope.

Huskemaw is built in the same plant as Nightforce in Japan not at all like the $200.00 scorpion scopes lots of comments by people that never owned one or saw one, typical internet cowboys.

Maybe so, but for only about $200 less, you can buy a nightforce SHV 5-20 with illumination. Which do you think will have a higher resale in 5 years? You're right, probably the Huskemaw, since it has that nifty TV show supporting it and anyone can shoot animals at 800 yards without any practice using one...

Their website lists two dealers in Canada; one in Lethbridge Alta. and one in a place called Bindloss.

Somehow the face on their website doesn't inspire confidence.

Gale McMillan posted the basic realities of the Japanese scope factories 15+ years ago. The comment that made me laugh was how at one of the factories where he used to buy, they would fly the flag of the country they were building for that day. One day when he was there the German flag was flying and the Germans on site were very anxious that old Gale not find out what company they were from! Reminds me of a gent I know in the UK who went on a tour of a Zeiss factory in Germany and saw boxes of Howa glass on the shop floor. McMillan said the Japanese will build to whatever budget the customer wants. At least there you can be pretty sure you get what you pay for, unlike some other places we could name.;)

Hmmm...you've been a member of CGN for 10 years and only have 268 posts, yet you've decided to grace us "internet cowboys" with your presence in this humble thread.
Must have struck a nerve?

Some of us do not have time to put thousands of posts online sorry.Corlane sports is a Huskemaw dealer and sell a lot of these scopes to hunters that actually hunt.
