BC 3Gun Redneck Championship

That's one thing about 3gun matches that I notice while shooting a stage that varies from a pistol-only stage. Each time you switch guns in a stage you have an opportunity to think through the next gun's section of the stage. It's stage visualization at a rapid pace while exchanging guns. I think it helps performance a lot.

Our group of guys is thinking about renting a charter bus with hired drivers to go from Sasktoon to the match and back. We are looking to pick up more people, as it lowers the cost for everyone and the bus has lots of room.

So if anyone is along the Saskatoon - North Battleford - Lethbridge - Edmonton - Edson - Hinton Yellowhead route, consider coming with us on the comfy bus rather than driving yourself.

Do you have a division for bolt action rifles?

John

Hmm, good question John.
No mention on type of action in any of the 3Gun Nation rules, I would hazard a guess that you would compete in the division your optics, caliber etc. placed you in.
As there is no Manual Action type Division. Definitely tough to be competitive, but would be interesting to watch,

I've seen people compete with non-semi-automatic guns in a competition. It is an interesting challenge for the shooter and a novelty to see. However, one issue is that it does slow down the competition and that could be a concern for planning.

Very Valid point, that is one of the challenges with 3Gun!
