BC 3Gun Redneck Championship

Paid and squadded. One of the highlights of the shooting season in B.C. Too bad about the IPSC Alberta conflict as I would love to make it out to one of those too.

Is a current/valid Black Badge required for 3 gun? My son wants to shoot this summer and I couldn't tell him if BB is required

As AdamG has indicated, As this match is not an IPSC certified match there is no Black Badge Certification requirement!

Keep in mind though, that I would not consider this an entry level match!
At the risk of stating the obvious all shooters must be able to safely handle all firearms through the course of fire.

Hope to see you both in July

Do you have a outline of your divisions somewhere?

do a search for 3Gun Nation Rulebook, they will have a complete description of the Division Rules.
But Basically,
Open-any config of optics, etc. speed loaders allowed for shotgun.
Tactical-one magnified optic on rifle, none on shotgun or handgun.
Standard-one non-magnified optic on rifle, none on shotgun or handgun
heavy metal- same but 30 caliber rifle, 12 Gauge and 45.

Question about divisions, would a mag fed semi auto shotgun like the BR99 or 1919 automatically place you in Open?

Sorry if it's been answered already, my websearch couldn't find a definitive answer.

So to confirm, the match is using the full 3 gun nation rule book? Including things like scoring and safe dump conditions?

YES, As much as possible. Division titles different but follow same rules, Safe Dump conditions, YES. 3Gun Nation Scoring Time plus penalty.

As we are not 3Gun Nation affiliated we reserve the option of making changes, but at the moment do not anticipate anything major.

7.2.3.2 Only conventional tubular magazine fed shotguns allowed in this division. for Tactical and Standard

therefore mag fed shottie puts you in Open.

So I'm assuming that your "Tactical" division is 3GN's "Practical" division rule set?

Are the mag limits for rifles in all divisions what ever is allowed by law? So 50BW are good to go in all divisions?

Yes,
Unlimited = Open
Practical = Tactical
Factory = Standard

Yes, 50BW mags are accepted.

Team Sask has 10 shooters on our squad already with a couple more signing up yet. I heard great things about this match from the people that went last year. This is shaping up to be one of my 3-gun highlights of 2016

Several local Hotel/Motels have been generous enough to donate 4 rooms for the Room draw and we have a dozen or so rooms prebooked at the Super 8 in 100 Mile House. Just let them know you are competing in Lone Butte 3Gun Championships.
We have been told the area Hotel/Motels are expecting a busy period that weekend, So suggest everyone book rooms as soon as possible.

Very happy to announce "Canada Ammo" will once again be the Official Match Sponsor.

Thanks Ryan J. and company!

With "CanadaAmmo's" support and many of last years Stage Sponsors already committed, we are predicting a very nice prize table once again!
