Winchester grey/silver box offers a 180-grain soft point. It can be found just about anywhere but varies in price from $25-$40 for a box of 20 rounds. Remington also offers .303 in a hunting point as well...it's all good stuff, with good brass for reloading.
For target shooting I've used a lot of Rem-UMC 174 grain FMJ. It's a proper flat base bullet and I've found it to shoot closely to the sight calibrations at up to 400m with a number of my SMLE's and No. 4's. I use the brass for reloading also.

Depends on what you want to use it for, hunting or targets. A 180 gr bullet is a pretty standard hunting load for the .303 and a 174 gr FMJ replicates the military load for target shooting.
Handloading lets you develop loads for specific needs and allows one to tailor the best loads by trying a combination of different bullets and propellants. What works best in one rifle may not work the best in another. There can be considerable variations from the nominal .303 bore diameter.

Agree.Prvi Partizan 150gr softpoints group a lot better than 180gr Winchester ammo.

All of the ammo thus far mentioned is non-corrosive. Older surplus ammo may be corrosive, but anything off the shelf won't be.
