Hey guys I decided to start clay shooting a bit more this year and today I found this gun. I know nothing about Italian guns but was told they were good.

You got ripped off. If an O/U isn't Browning or Beretta it isn't worth having...

Oh- wait, that actually looks not too bad. How does it shoot? How is the trigger? If it feels good and works good then $1400 seems like a good deal to me! B guns are nice but don't have a monopoly on good O/U shotguns. If you don't like it you can probably sell it for what you paid. If you wear it out after 25K rounds... well you likely spent $12K on targets and ammo so the price of the shotgun really isn't a big deal is it? Have fun and break em all!

Well built guns. They are +/- $2200 before tax in new condition...you save the $1000 advertising fee that Beretta needs to add to their entry O/U in order to make a profit.

Cant disagree here, other then then Bettinsoli isnt part of the Beretta group. But Beretta did contract Bettinsoli to manufacture Franchi o/u's so you know the quality is there. As for Bettinsoli, if Im not mistaken, it is being distributed here by Baikal Canada.

Yeah I didn't mean to imply that it was part of the Beretta Group, simply that it's every bit as well built as Beretta's bottom of the line offering. I had one of those X8 Extra models last year, never shot it but had it all apart and do recommend them. I'm
Actually thinking of picking up another once I sell my Cynergy Classic Trap.

Gotch! I think I figured it out after my post. I misunderstood your post the first time I read it

Looking forward to trap shooting. I like to screw around and shoot clays with a hand thrower. Figured it was time to upgrade and try out the real thing.

That is one nice looking shotgun. I think you did well for the money you spent on it, I hope she shots as good as she looks and snugs up to you like your 1st girlfriend used to...lol. Congratulations.

Jim

How come you're selling the gun? Did you not like it? Would love to hear your feedback on your experience with it. Im starting to see a lot of these hit the used gun racks and im interested in why thats happening. Thanks
