Wet Tumbling Brass in your Washer.

So the other day I was home sick and between naps I was cleaning some old brass in Lemi-shine and soap. I wanted to get some dirt off of them and then dry them out and make some AR ammo later in the week.

Well on the drier was a lovely clean piece of brass so after a few loads of brass I got lots of brass clean.

I did have to sneak the loads in while the wife was out

Here you go guys... I shot this with a fever so don't mind the stumbling narrative.

With that much damaged brass I wouldn't think its a good idea, plus it will chew up the washing machine as well.

Your wife is going to kill you. Get a steel pin wet tumbler and enjoy your as new shiny brass.

I just showed this to my wife who has 20 years in the appliance industry...

You forgot step 3 go to the appliance store and buy a new washer. Wet tumblers are $275 new washer $1500

One more thing to add. If you have to hide it from wife/gf it is probably not a good idea to do it anyway.

Old towels and few pillow cases and it won't be an issue. Great idea!

Seems to be the feedback. Perhaps a batch a year that has been rinsed in lemishine and soapy water and the primers removed.

That thing would hold 5000 cases easy!!! Fortunately its a front load washer and really no good for anything else. Thing of the past.
