Is it possible to find 22 long ammunition?

Hi folks,

Been trying to locate some 22 Long for a friend of mine, who has an old Winchester chambered for this caliber. I've pretty much ran out of ideas. Anyone would know if there is some, somewhere, in Canada?
 
Long or long rifle??? There is a difference. I'm 43 and I've never seen .22long for sale in my life. Find it hard to believe Walmart
has some..........not impossible, but improbable
 
I see shorts, but never longs. I remember another post about longs, and somebody did have some, but unfortunately I can't remember who it was.
We used to use longs in the Cooey because they were a little cheaper.
Winchester lists them on their website, but availability??

CCI still make it . I've always been able to find it .

Local shop in town normally has the CCI Long in stock, shouldn't be too bad for a retailer to track down. If you guys have never seen Long for sale ever, that's weird.
 
Ever used it? I hunt with CB because it's a LOT quieter then any other 22 ammo. Quieter then Aguila SSS

the CCI 22 long is the same as their 22 long rifle high velocity but shorter casings, the CB Long is the same as their 22 long rifle Quiet ammo but shorter casings.

CCI High Velocity and CCI Quiet are VERY different types of ammo..

ps: I have found 22 long at CT in the last few weeks
