I have an m&p mag that does not drop free. Upon investigation it looks like the follower is the culprit. I see on the s&w forums that when US owners have problems smith either fixes it or sends new parts. Is it the same here, will the Canadian warranty centre just send me the proper replacement follower? I should add Im not the original owner so no receipt.
I'll be calling the warranty centre this coming week anyway. Just was curious how it works.

Good Luck to you if the gun needs to be sent to Murray Charlton (BC) even more luck if your gun needs to go back to the US, i had an almost 2 year ordeal with them.
Doesn't sound to major if its just a follower, drop them a line tomorrow and they will let you know. My gun was second hand and i didnt have to produce any receipts or anything, they might not ask for the follower if its a known issue.

S&W has a warranty? Get outta town. I think their so called "lifetime service policy" is a not very funny at all joke. But you might have better luck.

My Sig X5 has been there since August.... All it needs is a sight, thinking I should have fixed it myself at this point.

Edit I'm thinking of MD Charlton

Korth Group is one of the Ruger/S&W (as well as the only authorized Leupold) importer in Canada.

Find their website and drop them an email - see what they have to say...

Or you could simply buy a few from Brownells with your next order and save yourself a lot of time. They're $1.99 USD. I personally have been treated well by S&W warranty on a rather large issue, should you approach them politely I bet that they will help you out too.
