I used to do it often, put a couple hundred in a fabric bag( lots of black loblaws ones around ) tied tight, with butchers twine and double bagged and tied some more and throw in with whatever. Sharp necks would eventually wear away at the bags hence the double bag for insurance. Only happed once, inspect bags and tie tight. Worked awesome! I would somtimes manually clean primer pockets first.
Eventually stopped once i concidered that maybe im tainting my clothes with bad stuff.
If i had a extra washer in use for only "shop things" i would do it again
