They'll work, but why? They are enormous and ugly. You're mounting a scope to an AR15, not a 20mm.

Thanks man I just like the big bulky tactical look.......also there have been issues in the past where I order rings and been sent wrong ones or i ordered wrong ones (weaver)........these are for a Picatinny rail correct? I can't find any specs specifically on these can you tell from the image they are for a Picatinny rail?

Here's a link picture kinda grainy

They look fine and will work. Similar to mine. Still might go for one of the PEPR mounts but the thick rings just look good on mine. (I also have a Mossberg MMR!!) I find that the charging handle is kind of tight quarters under the rear bell when I set it up right for eye relief. How is your Mossy for accuracy? Mine is exactly 1.1" with 55gr FMJ bulk bullets and Reloader 15.

Awesome man! Thanks for the reply and great to hear you got a mmr too.....to be honest I haven't shot it yet....Been sitting in the safe for close to 2 years......just no time.....great to know the rings will work they seem decent for the price.....I was looking at the pepr mount and they are over 100$ for anything decent......don't wanna get into that kinda stuff yet as this is my first ar15 (more of a pistol shooter) thanks again and happy shooting !

For AR, the ring height should be 1.5". Anything lower than that is awkward for cheek wield and may not have enough clearance for your scope.

1" is too low.

OK so I guess since should get some "extra high" rings then? You are saying I won't be able to sight this set up in with those rings and scope combo correctly? This ar15 will only be shooting from a bench with a bipod.....this will not work at all?

Unless you have a really abnormally thin face there is almost no way to get your eye down low enough to look through the scope with rings at that height. Even if you manage to scrunch your face down low enough I can't imagine it will be comfortable like that. If you want to test it out have someone hold the scope in place and see if you can look through it without serious contortions.

Thanks man I'll order some extra high rings all this info is greatly appreciated!

See if anyone you know has a quick-detach cantilever mount you could have a look at - ADM/Vortex models are pretty common and the cantilever is both sufficiently high and most importantly, the mount throws the scope forward by about 2 inches, allowing for appropriate eye relief and height - both of which are critical for mounting a scope on an AR platform.

rings too low
you need 1.5 inch
rings look like shiat too but thats subjective
rings are of shiat quality as well and thats not subjective

Ok thanks for the info ill go for 1.5 inch rings....... also any decent priced rings you guys know of? It is a 600$ AR 15....300$ scope.....and i should really spend $80 to $150 on a Pepr mount?....or quick detach mount ? Is it really justifiable in this case with the quality of rifle and scope iam using? Any links or names or brands would be appreciated if you guys could point me in the right direction thanks

For a $600 rifle and $300 scope you are fine with those rings... Not everyone is wealthy like mikethebike... I heard that guy is SO WEALTHY he smashed a $6000 carbon fibre AR rather than sell it just because he was mad it wouldn't work!!!!! Laugh2

Rather than pau $US on EBay I'd suggest you look to pick some up at Grouse River, or even Nosale (wholesale) Sports. Gotta support those local shops or they close!!!!

Thanks again guys
