Anyone identify this muzzle break

Hey folks just got a surprise box of AR parts from my father in law and along with a Colt marked a.r.m.s 5 riser and some other bits plus this muzzle break that I can't say I've seen befor. I know he bought most of his ar stuff around '91 to give some sort of vintage. Anyone have an idea?

I was just Google searching Tantal brakes for 224 bores and found out that a US company once made Tantal clones for 224 bore. Maybe this is one of 'em? Give it a go. I'm curious how well it works. :)

Yes sir that's exactly it. The wrench flats is what seems to to separate this one from the AK ones. How well does it work?

Great... I built that AR above. Hard break to find, Came on some Bushmaster AR15's. Mine was 1 piece and no setscrew.


Ask recoil, hes has it now. TV press pass owned it as well.
