I'm pretty sure PGW could have made a better rifle for the same money as these and they would have been 100% Canadian made....

well its $4000 but that includes everything, rifle and associated bits, hard cases, distribution, training, ammo, maintainance.....

I also suspect that since its a project it included the cost of disposal of the current stock of enfields.

I didn't read that training was included, but if that's the case, then OK. If it's just a case, etc, then 4-5K is absurd.
 
I still think this is a better ranger rifle....

i m not in the rangers but in the application i filled with Carcross and Whitehorse patrols 3 years ago they asked to provide a copy of my pal with the CPIC.

anyway wish for you guys that you keep your enfield and have fun the colt tikka ....
 
Does the 4k cost not include tooling and product development?

With the way the economy is going soon all tikkas will be 4k :dancingbanana:

Lol..... I was a reservist from 92-97 before joining the regs.... I was in Gjoa haven in 1994 / 95, which predates the PAL......

To be honest, I only spent 7 months there which predates the existence of the PAL....... What happened after?.... We're non pal carriers expelled or trained?
