I am quite new to the firearms world and am hoping that I can tap into some of the vast knowledge that is had by CGN members. I am trying to ascertain a reasonable selling price for a Glock 17 generation 3 with approx 200 rounds through it. The firearm is in what i would consider like new condition. I acquired it as a result of work I had completed on someones vehicle but am unsure to the used value of it. Most of my internet searches show prices all over the place and mostly in american currency. Hopefully this is the proper forum for asking this question.

Thank you for your time.

i wouldnt pay more than $630 shipped if i "needed" a gen3 g17.
these were $560 shipped not 6 months ago from a board sponsor and can currently be had new for $700 from another sponsor

I sold a G17 Gen 3 on our ee about 5 months ago for $675. 1200ish rounds down the pipe but still in great condition with everything it came with

List her at 750 and go from there.

Bought a more or less brand new glock 17 gen 3 for $600 a month ago, manufactured in 2008 or so, less than 300 down the pipe from original owner. Gun is literally in brand new condition. I say list it at $700 or best offer.

So you may or may not want to answer these questions; however, you sound very new to the firearms community and the nature of your question and how it's been raised is a bit troubling. Firearms are highly regulated things in Canada, particularly handguns which are restricted...you need a licence to possess and acquire firearms AND you need to have vocalized a reason for possessing and acquiring firearms. I find it odd that work performed on a vehicle is agreed to be paid for with a firearm and at least one of the parties doesn't know what it worth!? If this is true (and I'm suspicious) you won't be in business very long performing work for wooden nickles...and that's if you even have the licence to have the wooden nickles in your possession!?
You are going to need the RPAL to have the firearm registered to yourself, and you can't sell it until it is. If you do not have your RPAL licence, you are in violation of several firearms offences in the criminal code, as is the individual who gave you the gun.
