CZ 75 Shadow Line Holster Woes ???

I have a CZ 75 Shadow Line (not SP01) on it's way to me and I am looking for a Blade Tech Holster to fit. Actually I have one on order, the CZ 75: HOLX000875464092 (D/OSTek-Lok) to fit a plain old CZ 75. I have contacted the nice people at Blade-Tech and have been informed that it will not work.

Following is a direct quote from an email from Blade-Tech:

"I am very sorry, but even though the dimensions of these firearms are very similar they are not going to fit the same holster. We currently do not have any holsters for the firearm that you have at this time. We have made attempts before to make them and they have all not worked out."

So, I still think a standard CZ 75 holster might work but I really don't know and I will have to see if someone in our local club (IPSC) is running one so that I might try it.I suppose I could use a race holster but I really like my Sig 226 Blade-Tech.

My question then is:What are you running for a Holster or what has you experience been???:confused::confused:

I used to have a Bladetech 75B holster for my Shadowline (not the SP-01 railed). It worked fine. I've been kicking myself ever since I sold it too...
 
Do you have the opportunity to try it in a blade tech for an SP-01 Shadow?
The trigger guards seem similar and enough of the gun may fit in.

Sometimes "similar" guns fit in other holsters with bladetech - they just don't publish it.

There are lots of guys in our club running SP01 shadow's so it should not be a problem to find one to try. CZ 75B, I'm not so sure if any of the regular guys have one. I did see a fellow with an Omega a few weeks back but I didn't pay attention to his holster. As soon as I get my paper work then I will be able to take the gun to the range and see what I can find out.
 
Just ordered my 75 shadowline, hoping it will fit my bladetech 75b holster....Can't see why it wouldn't, the frame / slide on the shadowline looks dimensionally the same as on the standard 75b, differences being internal / grip material / beavertail / sights / etc. I have no doubt they come off the same machines. Will soon find out !

Please let us know if the Shadow Line works with your Holster, apparently the 75B worked for SoylentD so hopefully your experience will be the same. I have ordered a CZ 75 holster for mine, primarily cause that's what is available to me right now. Please keep us updated and I will do the same.

It will fit just fine. My 85 Combat Bladetech holster worked fine.

The frame with the upswell beavertail is different than the original but not significantly enough to affect holster selection. I have a new leather holster for my New Edition 75B that is a perfect fit for my 75 Shadowline.

Just received my 75 Shadowline. Fits my blade tech 75b holster perfectly. Maybe even better than the 75b! I just ordered another from Blade-techs website. Cheers!
 
UPDATE: I have received the CZ 75: HOLX000875464092 (D/OSTek-Lok) Holster and it fits my Shadowline like a glove. I did try the pistol in a SP01 holster and although it would rest inside the holster there is no way you can say it fits. If I were going to order directly from Blade Tech then I would order the 75B Holster as DTM5 (above post) has.
