Ammo Can Pistol Case

I don't own an actual pistol case so I decided to turn one of my MTM ammo cans into one. Just asked the local gun store if they had any foam kickin around. *Ammo is only in picture because it looks BA and not actually stored together with the firearm.*

I was going to cut the foam so the pistol fit in the case like your pistol but I'm going to save it until I get a second handgun.

Those cases are deep aren't they? You going to store anything underneath? If not you could probably go the same way nmcmullin did. That might give you room for mags too.

The registration card is stored underneath for now. I'm eventually going to cut it the same way nmcmullin did. That was my original idea but then I lazied out.

I think the way you did is a good idea. That way you can stack up layers.
I mean how long can one hold out owning only one pistol .Tokarevs alone come in many flavors.
