I have a Ruger GP100 up for trade.
Someone offered me an Angelo Zoli semi automatic shotgun for straight up trade.

First off, I can't find info on these shot guns. Actually, correction: some info says that the Zoli family never made Semi Autos
Second, if its real, is it quality and worth the trade?

not sure where to to ask this, so I posted here.

any help would be great.

Cheers!

I know there are Antonio Zoli semi-autos. Tradeex has them. There are conflicting reports as to whether Angelo Zoli made semi-autos. It maybe is possible that he did but I think the consensus is that he didn't. The quality might be fine but I doubt parts are very easy to find.
It is possible that Angelo Zoli marketed some semi-autos that were made for him by another firm. Either way, I think you would have a useless gun if it ever broke. I found where someone supposedly had an Angelo Zoli branded semi -auto that needed repair. Like you, no information was found except for the reply which I included below. If it was me, I don't think I would trade.

Well
my friend. I owned one of them once and I too could not get it to work consistently at all either. Me and a gunsmith worked on it for over two years. We concluded that..."they just don't work"....despite looking to be well made. I did have some success firing 3 inch shell through it....You may get 6 or 7 in a row for it jams. I really felt bad too cause it was a handsome gun, easy to shoot and had good killing power...just couldn't get it to work consistently. I sold it to the gunsmith after it frustrated me too much....Parts are very hard to come by.
