I have looked at most of the web links to CGN advertisers but have had no luck. I'm looking for the front sight assembly like the Norinco guns have. I don't really know anything about these semi-auto tactical guns as my interests lie mostly with old bolt actions. I was thinking that perhaps someone here may have changed the irons for optics and may be willing to part with the irons.

Literally just sold one out of some extra parts I cleared out lol

You will probably be able to find one on the EE if you post a WTB ad, I'm sure there's at least one lying around with all the M305's we have among us :)

I ordered some USGI sights and other parts from treelineM14 in the states for a m305 upgrade project I did a little while ago.

Dollar was a bit better at the time. But if it's just the front sight you can always email them and ask what they can do with shipping, the guy I dealt with was very helpful.

Do you have an 18.5" or 22" long barrel rifle?
It makes a difference in what front sight you get.

As Yomomma asked: what are your intentions with it? It makes a difference.

Shipping from the states sucks right now, never mind the exchange rate.

Let me look, I think I have one kicking around

I 'm curious though, what are your plans?

I have recently picked up a bubba Mosin Nagant. Other than the bad barrel chop it isn't to bad. After looking at a Norinco M14 that a friend has I'm sure that this type of front sight will get it back shooting with irons.

If you want to get fancy, you can phone in orders directly to Springfield Armory. I bought a scout front sight from them, shipping was like $10.

Nice work.

Remember the flash hider with the higher sight post is meant for the shorty. Only matters if you intend to use iron sights I guess.

I'll sort it out once I get out to the range. May file the sight post down a little to get a better sight picture but there is lots of elevation adjustment on the rear sight. I can't see well enough to shoot past 100 yards with open sights.
