Compact Glock with Glock factory barrel

I don't think he is going to chime in considering since joining back in Nov 2010 he has 0 posts in the forum other than posted ads on EE.

You're probably right on that. But if what I said is true, selling pistols with cut down barrels to unsuspecting members is a douche bag move. Those two poor buyers may now be in possession of prohibited firearms and don't even know it.

This is the one... JP.

Would like to hear your thoughts after shooting the 2, JP. I love the P99. I like the G19 as well and may pick one up but have never shot one.

At this point with 6 Glocks in my herd, this one is the most confortable in hand and it's very compact...
Hopefully it shoot as good as my G17L... JP.:)

I also have 6 now and the G19 is my favorite of all of them.

Interesting. I'm kind of between a G19 or G40 for my first Glock, for totally different reasons. The G19 seems like the perfect realization of the Glock concept and the G40 is just plain cool. Hard call.

I have never owned a G40, but I can say of all the Glock models I have owned, the G19's are the ones I would never sell!
Ah good to know. I'm being swayed. Are you one of the lucky ones with a 12.6, lyle1?

I managed to get a PM with that seller. He said they were both factory threaded barrels cut down by a gunsmith. I asked him more questions but never got a reply.
Does one have to re register the handgun if the barrel is cut down?

I had one of the first 23's in Canada a few decades back. Liked the feel of the pistol but it used to eject back into my forehead about half the time, so I traded it off. I might try a 19 next, the gen 4 feels pretty good. A 12 (6) version would be great but I don't think there are any in the country. - dan
