So..............did you get one?

Got mine today. Everything is in new condition except the sling. Has the U shaped front sight. Very happy with it. It's my first 858. Thanks wolverine for the great customer service!!! My only problem now is the attention its getting from a now not so happy wife...:d
 
I ordered one I really didn't think these were built with used parts. they should look brand new with all matching parts. Either way CZ is my favorite gun manufacture out there. there pistols are they best and these are second to none combat riffle's. A lot of armies around the world would never consider a different riffle for certain applications.
 
Got mine today and thought the reciever looked rough, like it wasn't finished smooth.? I m new to the cz858 so maybe someone can chime in.
I didn't get a calibre magazine lol even spent a couple hundred dollars on top of the gun.
 
My knowledge regarding this specific platform is limited. Are the bolts on these tabbed or not. Should I be expecting a gremlin that everyone talks about in the future?

cz858 never came tabbed , but from my experience is only happen to some people , mine when i was shooting it, i never had any problem but everybody else was having the gremlin while trying my gun, i did ended up to do the job myself , my guess is they were holding the trigger like they tough this thing would shoot full auto ...

it a very easy problem to solve , the solution is in the CZ858 faq in the red rifle section

The finish on mine has drip marks, like the finish was put on too heavy and ran off. My receiver wasn't in good shape either. Also, the front site assembly is pitted and then just recoated. I'm feeling a little disappointed. I understood they were from surplus parts, but I figured their definition of what was acceptable to use would be higher.

Picked mine up today.

3 magazines look like the have never seen a round.
1 magazine has seen maybe 20 rounds fed from it.
Mag pouch, sling and bayonet scabbard are new
Bayonet looks unissued.

Rifle looks very clean, full front sight hood. Honestly the rifle seems like it's new as far as I can tell.

Does anyone know why there is a rotating muzzle piece on the tip of the muzzle with a button you can push down to rotate that part??

Wow thread protector.. My CZ muzzle is threaded, mindblown. Didn't know that
