I'd lean to rem moutain rifle in 270/30-06.
Lightweight, decent stock, accurate (bed, free float if it's not)
The kimber montana is good also, but it's getting ultralight to me...
The winchesters EW stocks are poorly designed, my least favorite on your list.
I'd consider the ruger as well, with the downside being a plastic stock.
 
Ever thought of going with a single shot rifle?

My favourite all weather single shot rifles are stainless steel with laminate and synthetic stocks T/C Contender carbines I have barrel lengths from 14" - 24" and I'm now into getting into T/C Prohunters I always shorten their freaking long barrels to 19" - 24" depending on the cartridge.

Even though Ruger's are to me unbelievably fugly I'd even recommend a stainless laminate Ruger #1.
 
You can but a supressor down there for your rifle, whatever you get you may want to consider something threaded to put a can on it.

X2 I would buy a EW but the stocks are not very good. Drop it in a wildcat and it becomes a great rifle.

It's the smoothest 700 I've ever owned. I'd like to find more of them.

Currently sits w/o a scope and weighs 6lb 6oz. ADL set up.

Your favourites are TC Contenders... and Ruger No.1's are "FUGLY???"

I suppose the saying; "There is someone for everyone," applies here.

I have to admit, if we are talking durability, my paddle stock ruger is a large step above my sake, savage, and Remington for durability and quality of stainless. It ended up being my truck gun and would only get oiled once or twice a year and still not a whisper of rust. Can't say that with all my other "stainless" guns.
 
I've whittled my rifles down to what I "need/use". They all happen to be "all weather" type rifles, due to our wet coast weather. None of them are particularly "light", but they carry just fine for me.

I constantly toy with selling the M70 to fund a larger cal Ruger Guide Gun. The 308 and 30-06 are just so close, but that damn M70 shoots lights out and "feels" like a longer range rifle compared to the scout.

 
That's a very functional group of rifles, good looking too.

You're a wise man to have shaken the urge to compile a mass of guns you rarely shoot, and may not even be sighted in anymore.....

Nice battery you have there...... I did what you are considering doing, except replace m70 with a rem700...... Guide gun is set to arrive shortly.....

I almost bit on the 338wm Ruger Guide at Prophet River, no tax/free shipped made it tempting........

Ideally I'd like to p/u a Guide in 30/06 then have it rebored and chambered for 35 Whelen.
