Who makes the "best" 20 gauge snap caps? This is for an O/U, storage and dry firing practice. Looking to stay away from all plastic versions......

Brass? Chrome steel? Available in Canada?

Get the red anodized alum ones. Not sure who makes em but they work good. There is zero wrong with the plastic ones too. Or make your own with old hulls and fill the primer hole with hit glue.

The black plastic ones are good for storage purposes.
The red aluminum AZoom ones are good for cycling and firing. Although I have rifle caliber ones and they chip easily leaving shavings in your action.

If you use the plastic ones in a SxS or OU with auto ejectors, they shatter the rims off them. Don't ask me how I know. If you use A-zooms In a gun with non rebounding hammers, the pins eventually make a permanent impression in the plastic primer bumper and make the gun hard to open Again, don't ask me how I know. The real expensive ones made of brass with a spring primer are probably the best.

They will be for a Beretta O/U with extractors.

Where can I find the good quality brass ones with springs?

I'm not willing to risk damaging the obsolete firing pins on pseudo plastic snap caps, pencil erasers, hot melt glue etc.

Why are snap caps and similiar products so expensive
It's plastic lol
Probably costs .15 cents to make and a pack of 2-4 is like 10-20$
What a rip

The last Berettas I have seen brand new mind you all have had the Beretta Branded Snap Caps...
Kinda defeats the purpose of the search when one of the better O/U Shotgun maker includes Snap Caps in their guns.
