7.62x39mm AR magazines

Hey all I'm thinking of builds and just thought of a 7.62x39 mm AR, I know there are a few out there and I was looking at magazines, I like the pmags and was wondering what everyone uses that have the rifles chambered in this caliber and I have a couple sks rifles one stock and one I'm looking for tapco mags

i dont think magpul makes 7.62x39 mags for AR but i could be wrong. i know they do make AK mags though.

every week there is a thread asking about 7.62X39 mags, No one in Canada has them in stock. If you want some contact Wolverine Supplies or Questar and ask them to put you on their notification list, that way you will have first crack at getting them.

Wolverine has 6.8 SPC mags that are identical to the 7.62. I know because I have purchased both.

so the only difference is the marking on the follower and the text on the side (and the block keeping if from having full 10 round capacity)...?

As silly as it sounds simply print LAR-15 pistol mags on the side will not be legal.

The 6.8's are not pinned but are blocked by utilizing a compressed 30 round spring that limits only 5. Everthing is identical sans the marking on the follower and if one is anal about the markings then just change it.

It's a no brainer instead of waiting for a 7.62 mag supply.

I think someone said it will only function with 4-5rds of x39, then alignment issues start, and it won't feed properly if more than 5rds inserted.

i do remenber wolverine saying that the 7.62x39 mag would work with the 6.8 in it , so the inverse should be good as well

50$ for 5 rounds . That's extreme.

Wolverine will have XCR pistol mag in a Couple of weeks
