So..............did you get one?

Yeah i knew it was fishy when people were saying "yep got one for me and the wife!" Yeah right i was gonna call bs on that one before but now that the wife suddenly doesnt like it and there on the ee for 1600 thats seedy as f***. Especially when so many people are genuinely upset they didnt get one to keep not to flip to make money on cause the wife didnt like it. As if she didnt know what she was getting!

The prefix on my earlier Shadow was A###### (manuf in 2007 or 2008 if I remember correctly). I now have a Shadowmate with a test target dated Jan. 2014 that has serial B417### and a Tac Sport Orange in 9mm with a test target dated June 2015 with serial B753###. So roughly 300,000 firearms manuf. a year or 25,000 a month if I do the math. The CZ858's pictured here have a B190### to B200### average serial # and test target dated around April 2013 from what I can see. That would put your C prefix 858 to be manufactured in late 2016?

Well to be fair, I actually DID get one for myself, and my wife actually DID get one for herself. The sale wasn't 1 per household, it was 1 per person. But we also plan on keeping ours lol. We shot a friends shortly before they went prohibited, and we both fell in love with it. We decided to start shopping around and then BAM. Prohibition. So we count ourselves as very fortunate to have been able to grab 2 of these beautiful rifles and I promise everyone that did not get one that they will be well taken care of.

And if in the distant future we do plan on selling one, it will be market value. I hate price gouging as much as the next guy. When I post on the ee I try to find market price, then sell for a little less. I would rather take a $100 hit on a sale just to get it than run the price up and have to BTT 15 times.

Congrats to everyone who got one, and to those of you who did not, keep your eyes on the ee as not everyone is a dink like that guy!

Boo hoo. Bunch of whiny babies. If you dont like the price move on. If you can get one for cheaper go ahead. It a free market. I can ask whatever I want. Basic supply and demand. Wah wah wah. He was lucky enough to get one for him and his wife and now he's selling one wah wah wah. Get over yourselves.
 
I agree with you 100% on the supply and demand/free market. You can ask a million dollars for it if you choose. But don't be offended when you get called out on it. That's my 2 cents, good luck with the sale.

I completely agree it is your property and you can ask what you like; I was just pointing out you were the one "whining like a baby" last week about EE practices.

Maybe remember that next time you start "whining like a baby" (as you put it) about others on the EE
