So lets get straight to it, I am currently building a 10/22 and will be using the Troy T22 chassis.

Unlike the Ruger SR22, the Troy T22 ends up with a gap between the trigger guard and grip. I am a bit of a perfectionist and want to fill that gap now that I know it's there (thanks internet) and how to do it.

The SR22 gets around the aforementioned gap by using a spacer made specifically for Ruger by Magpul, which is Ruger Part# BSR16701 for the SR22. The problem is Ruger won't let anyone just call up and order that part as a replacement for "Loosing it while shooting", you need to prove you have an SR22 with your serial number. and I know that it is unlikely people would be happy handing out their serial number.

My question to you, kind sir or lady whom owns an SR22, is would you be kind enough to order this part for me if I EMT you the funds for; a. The Part, b. The Postage and c. A few beers/bottle of wine/whatever else is in that range of money? (Unless you are local to the GTA in which case I can pick up and buy/bring you some beers or a bottle of wine or cash)

The only other way to fill this gap is with a Nordic Gapper that is seemingly only available across the border and as you likely know shipping to Canada is seemingly too much of a PITA for those red white and blue loving gun nuts.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Since you're in GTA call Al Flahertys and ask them to order one for you. They sell the SR-22 rifle so shouldn't have a problem.

Thanks for the suggestions, Al Flaherty's is literally 10min away from my house so I will drop in there on my way home from work and see if they can order that part for me. If not I will try one of the suggested websites.

Thanks again! Looking forward to getting this 22 finished and get out shooting

Ruger is a bit strange when it comes to parts it seems. I have a RAR .308 and wanted the predator scope mount, rail style, guy said it would fit but they wouldn't sell it to me. Said to try aftermarket options. WTF?
At least with AF ordering for you you'll have a better chance of getting it.

Did you phone Ruger US or Snapshots? Snapshots is the Canadian Warranty depot for Ruger and stock and sell Ruger parts to us poor canucks no problem. AF would probably just order from them anyways so why not just go straight to the source.

Iron Eagle Tactical Nordic Components is the manufacturer of the SR22 receivers and hardware and have that spacer in stock.
